Our history

1964: The journey begins

Shri P Balchand founded Hind Pharma; partnerships with global leaders Pfizer, US-V, and Sanofi

1971: Expanding the market

Becoming one of the earlier specialised distributors for Johnson & Johnson.

1990: Gaining traction and recognition

India's first C&F agent for Johnson & Johnson, Eli Lilly etc., managing regional and national operations.

2016: Growing our portfolio

Shobha Agencies is now part of Hindmed; we expand our medical supply network with BD, 3M, and Romsons.

2021: Evolving to meet the new Indian market

All operations unified under the Hindmed brand, integrating modern digital solutions with traditional distribution.

2023: Expanding to new locations

Fulfillment capabilities in Bangalore, Mangalore, Chennai, Faridabad and Kolkata with expansion plans to Mumbai and Hyderabad
